A PLAN.....

Having just finished a meeting and deciding upon launching the viral connections of our f/11 group it is time to write about... our plan!

So our aim: To produce and assist with a FISHBONE GALLERY PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL (more will be discussed in future- we don't want to give to much away!) As a photography group who resides in the fishbone bass camp we are going to be running a one week show of.... our photographs, to coincide and ultimately be part of the FESTIVAL!

So how to approach having a group show... ideas of forming a group project which gave the work a format or direct relationship was interesting however the diversity of the group also meant that a chosen project might not be someone's cup of tea and would hence hold them back! Negotiations, ideas, tea-breaks and conceptual-camera-kite-flying discussions were underway and our final idea.... Lets do everything!

-Individual projects should be pursued if people have ideas of their own, using the group to evaluate and critique the work in progress

-A group project.... "Time, Light and underexposure" could give people a starting point

and finally images of Coventry's local landmark... THE RICOH! will see our individual viewpoints combined in a similar subject!

So upon deciding to include everything we probably could we have set sail out to the vast f/11 ocean of photographic exploration! The show and its already looming-iceberg-of-a-deadline is our... destination!
